On here it’s all about getting creative!

That can take a number of forms:

Writing essays, poetry, stories, raps and songs, interviews, quotes

Drawing, painting, collaging, taking photos, making videos.

Creating objects, cakes, decorations, costumes, music, games, learning opportunities, fun workouts, dances, playing sports, you name it!! ….. a whole new world!

Creativity is really empowering because it is so unique to who you are! Even if at first you don’t have too many ideas, imagination, confidence or vision, ….. you learn and improve by doing. Even if you are copying something or someone, you will still be active in the creative process, and as long as you don’t claim as your own original idea something that isn’t, you are only doing what all humans have been doing since time immemorial; learning from others, emulating and improving. Some say there are no new ideas, no new concepts, everything is just an adapted copy with a few small changes. Smart small and grow! With practice, you can only get better. That’s what I’m doing and knowing that the more I do it, the easier it’ll get, definitely motivates and inspires me to do more.

It’s all about getting green!

By that I don’t mean buying into the whole sustainable lifestyle that is currently being sold as the next big capitalistic money maker! I don’t want to pressure you, guilt trip you or make you feel bad because you are not vegan, organic, palm oil free and certified sustainably sourced enough. (I’ve been there and I’ve been there hard and it did not feel good and I was getting a lot of pain out of life instead of pleasure. Also things are a lot more balanced and measured than just black or white. But most people try to elicit and influence you into extreme views, reactions and actions ).

I mean getting green by spending more time in the great green world, eating great green vegetables, and enjoying activities that benefit nature and yourself, whilst keeping you away from spending all your hard earned money. It is important to realise that happiness, health, and having a good time can be disconnected from having to spend money on material goods or services ( as long as all basic needs such as housing, healthcare, education, nutrition, safety are being met).

It’s about having a lifestyle that goes back to overlooked basics, whilst also embracing change and the positive aspects of technology, but without depending on them and using them as a necessary and integral component for every single activity. It’s about creating improvements, regeneration and beauty, rather than destruction, waste and overconsumption.

It’s all about creating change!

I’m here to lead by example. I’m here to show you that it isn’t all about talking the talk. Sure talking a good talk can get you places in life and im sure it can provide you with a lot of comfort and an illusion of action as a narrative for yourself. But really, It’s about walking the walk. It’s a long road called life and it takes time, effort, and setbacks to get to where you are and to keep moving forward towards where you want to be. As they say, it’s not about where you come from, it’s about where you go, and you want to keep going towards good things, good people, good vibes.

In order to do so, for a lot of people, it requires making a lot of changes. This can be a long and difficult process. But nothing worthwhile is easy! ” And the unexamined life is not worth living” as the great Socrates wrote. So change, here I come! Better embrace you because in life, the only constant is change!

Feelings of entitlement can lead to a lot of disappointment and lessons being learnt the hard way. Better to replace them with feelings of gratitude and awe.

Prioritising quantity over quality is an easy but important mistake to fix.

Staying in the shallow rather than venturing into the deep end may be safer at first glance, but all the underwater marvels and mysteries will be missed. And it only takes a few centimetres of water to drown anyway.
